One Sign That You Work in an Inspiring Workplace

The following sign greets employees on the front door as they enter the Indiana University Health Department:

Please take responsibility for the energy you bring into this space. Your words matter. Your behaviors matter. Our patients and our teams matter. Take a slow, deep breath and make sure your energy is in check before entering. Thank you.

Why not borrow this idea for your workplace and create a sign that helps everyone set their intention for the day? A sign that reminds people that their choices matter or that reminds everyone of your most important values. Or perhaps a sign that reminds them to have fun and enjoy the journey. If you work alone from your home office you can do this for yourself. And you can even start virtual meetings with an "intentions message" to help set the tone for the conversation you're about to have.

The London bar and cafe After Bark serves "puptails": Plant-based refreshments for canines who tag along with their owners. The selection of drinks includes the Bloodhound Mary, Barkarita, Howlapaw Sling, and the Great Expawlor. (I know, I know, their humor is a little ruff.)
