• A CareerBuilder.com survey found that 58% of managers received absolutely no management training (which is perhaps why some of the stats below make sense). 
• A Harvard Business Review reported that 58% of people trust a complete stranger more than their own boss. Ouch!
• 89% of supervisors believe employees quit because of money, whereas only 12% actually leave for financial reasons.
• 79% of people who quit a job cite a lack of recognition as their main reason for leaving.
• The Conference Board reports that 53 percent of Americans are currently unhappy at work.

Clearly, there's work to be done when it comes to creating inspiring workplace cultures! Leaders need to invest in their employees, invest in culture training, and be intentional about creating a rocking great workplace culture, because great cultures don't happen by accident!
