      The Wheel Of Change at Work
   
  Here's a great way to think about some of the changes you want (or need) to make in your personal or work life, courtesy coaching expert Marshall Goldsmith. In his latest book, Triggers, Goldsmith describes a "Wheel of Change" to help people think about how they approach making changes in their lives. The Wheel of Change can also work at a team level, so take the time with your team to talk about what changes your team/workplace needs to make to become more successful using these four Wheel of Change elements:

1. Creating: What positive elements do we need to either invent or add to our future?
2. Preserving: What are the positive elements that are working well that we want to make sure we keep?
3. Eliminating: What are the negative elements we want to get rid of?
4. Accepting: What are the negative elements that we have no control over, that we can't change and just need to learn to accept?  

It's a simple but effective way to frame change that generates great conversations and often amazing insights.

So here's a creative fun idea that some of you may be able to implement. A few businesses (and some individuals) have set up a unique e-mail address that returns a very funny auto-responder message to whoever uses it. A great way to add a little humor and personality to your business website.
