    Directions for a Great Conversation

Here's another conversation framework to take for a spin with your team. Based on the four points of a compass, this can help you collect some valuable ideas to help guide you in the right direction (see what I did there?). It's an especially useful framework to use when you're embarking on a new project or change initiative.

N:  Needs? (What does everyone think they will need to be more successful?)
S:  Suggestions? (What ideas do people have that will help you succeed?)
E:  Excited about? (What excites you about the project or the next quarter of business?)
W: Worries you? (What concerns do you have the we should flag?)

    Mike's Fun at Work Tip

Thank you Beverly McGrath (from Lake Simcoe Retirement Community) for sharing a great fun at work idea: Setting up a "Dad Joke Board" to share a corny Dad joke each day. You can share this with your employees or include your customers in the fun. By the way, do you know when a joke becomes a Dad joke? When it's full groan!
